Melaina is currently attending Columbia College in Chicago. She is studying film and television while continuing her career in acting. 

 

Melaina Laurent is an accomplished filmmaker and actress known for her versatility both in front of the camera and behind the scenes. With over a decade of experience in the film industry as a professional actress, she is currently pursuing a Cinema and Television Production degree at Columbia College Chicago. Melaina combines her formal studies with a wealth of hands-on experience from working on multiple professional film sets nationwide.

 

Her work has spanned various key areas in production, including Directing, Assistant Directing, Casting, Lighting, Assistant Camera work, and Production Assistance. With roots in both Chicago and St. Louis, Melaina brings a well-rounded and dynamic perspective to every project, aiming to bridge creative vision with technical expertise. Passionate about storytelling and the film industry, she continues to explore new avenues in filmmaking to further her artistic journey.
